The Officer of the Year Luncheon recognizes the outstanding body of work of 7th district police officers. Just under 100 officers service over 40,000 residents and 600+  businesses. The commitment of these officers to this community has helped decrease crime by almost 13%. Including, crimes against persons is down 11% with 6 less homicides than last year. The 7th district has the largest reduction in crime of any area in St. Louis city.

Open to the public, the Officer of the Year showcases 7th district police officers nominated by their peers. Before civic leaders, citizens, friends and family these officers stand proud as their dedication is recognized.
